Just surfacing

If it seems like I’ve been awfully quiet of late, well, it’s because I’m currently working on a full-time contract about an hour’s commute away. Combined with the demands of a toddler and a four-week old infant, that just doesn’t leave much time for anything else. My previous entry (favourite TV series) may look relatively coherent, but it was actually cobbled together from fifteen minute chunks of time here and there over the last fortnight.

If I owe you an email, you can probably expect it, oh, around Christmastime.

  1. Ah, I had wondered, I almost posted an entry on my own blog saying “Where is sunpig”. The joys of full time hours and two hours travel – tell me about it 🙁

  2. Thank goodness! I was worried enough that I was about to try ringing your house!

And since everything rotates around America, that means you’d probably get a ring sometime in the morning, am I right? 😉

Oh, wait…you’re a FRIEND (so I wouldn’t do that to you).

Take care. Be safe. Don’t overwork. Eat some ice cream. (Well, that always helps ME. Just take a couple scoops of French Vanilla — no, I did NOT say “freedom” Vanilla — add one shot vodka and one shot kahlua. Blend into a tasty milkshake.)

Uh, you may want to wait at least until your contract work is done before trying that recipe, by the way.

Good to see you’re alive and alright. As you know, I was worried.
