Maple Syrup as a deadly weapon

While making chocolate sauce to go on some ice cream this evening, I managed to slice my thumb open on the sugar that had crystallized around the lid of our jar of maple syrup. I never knew the stuff could be so sharp.

  1. T’is impressive. Last week I managed to slice my RIGHT thumb open with a bread knife (inch long and about 1 mm deep) probably should have gone to casualty. Anyway, I’ll be impressed if you can figure out how I managed it.
