[…] Why would a modern, efficient company choose to distribute its productivity gains in the form of a four day work when they could, instead, reserve those productivity gains for investors, by laying workers off, to decrease labor costs, or by having everyone continue working just as much, so that the AI produced a gain on top of what currently exists?
