Despite only having a dozen or so words in her vocabulary, Fiona is already using them to get into arguments with her brother. Take, for example, this gem from the other night, just after I’d put them both to bed:<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “I’m not Dada, I’m Alex.”<\/p>\n

[Fiona]<\/b> “Dada!”<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “I’m not Dada, I’m Alex<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

[Fiona]<\/b> “Dada!”<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “No, I’m not Dada, I’m Alex<\/em>! Listen to what I’m telling you!”<\/p>\n

[Fiona]<\/b> “Mama!”<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “No! I’m not Mama! I’m Alex<\/em>!”<\/p>\n

[Fiona]<\/b> “Alex!”<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “Yes.”<\/p>\n

[Fiona]<\/b> “Nooooooo…”<\/p>\n

[Alex]<\/b> “Yes I am!”<\/p>\n
