{"id":1293,"date":"2004-08-20T20:58:26","date_gmt":"2004-08-20T20:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sunpig.com\/mt-entry-1293.html"},"modified":"2005-08-28T00:26:50","modified_gmt":"2005-08-28T00:26:50","slug":"mcsdnet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunpig.com\/martin\/2004\/08\/20\/mcsdnet\/","title":{"rendered":"MCSD.NET"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Achieved.<\/p>\n<p>I passed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/learning\/exams\/70-316.asp\">70-316<\/a> this morning, the last one in the series for my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/learning\/mcp\/mcsd\/default.asp\">MCSD (.NET)<\/a> certification.  Woo!  With a certain amount of Yay!<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t find 70-316 a difficult exam, but then I&#8217;ve been coding Windows Forms since Visual Basic 4 back in 1997.  It may be a C# exam, but forms are forms, and a familiarity with the &#8220;Microsoft way of doing things&#8221; works wonders.  ADO.NET was the other big part of this exam&#8211;probably about 25% of the questions related to data access in some for or other.
