    The dusty moon Anarres
    \nIs home to anarchists
    \nWho can only live because they give
    \nAnd by gifts their world exists.

    While rich and fertile Urras
    \nIs plagued with poverty.
    \nThe poor all cry looking at the sky
    \nThat the moon’s the place to be.
    \n
    On peaceful settled O
    \nThe Night and Day are wed
    \nSedoretu build on the vows fulfilled
    \nBoth in and out of bed.
    \n
    The Hainish sent out ships
    \nFor many a planetfall.
    \nBut changeling breeds in time have needs
    \nTo be Ekumenical.
    \n
    We pray for one last landing
    \nOn the globe that gave us birth;
    \nLet us rest our eyes on the friendly skies
    \nAnd the cool, green hills of Earth.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
